And be careful what you backup on kickstarter. The least they could have done is to close Gary's account but they didn't even manage to do that. Seems all they care about is the money they get from the projects and nothing else.

They funded these products with KIckstarter, are now making money on them here, but have not provided their backers with the rewards they promised! Don't buy anything from these thieves and lairs! That may be true, but what about when good men and women…and dragons, celestials, and so many more do, in fact, do something? Can evil still be triumphant then?

Don't buy this product. Gary McBride and Firemountain games scammed backers out of money for the Throne of Night book, and never delivered anything past the second book. Gary McBride refuses to communicate with anyone regarding the product he promised to deliver. Well in addition the enworld review I mentioned in my first comment see below I also forgot to mention in my first comment that you're definitely better off buying the modules one by one so buy module one first AFTER checking out the free preview, then if you like that module two and so forth..

See more all six modules that kind of sucks :P Much to my surprise my favorite standby for reviews online - amazon - doesn't appear to have an entry for this product or if so not anymore..

I first heard about this on Fantasy Grounds and got curious and purchased it - love the story quality which I can confirm remains great for all six modules from start to finish and the art isn't too bad it isn't "WOTC" level of artwork but not bad at all for what I'm guessing is a 3rd party smaller publisher.

Note the free "Way of the Wicked Free Preview" which you should definitely download and check out before making any purchases. Like any module See more you will absolutely be railroaded along a certain predetermined pathway there's no room for example for the PC's to suddenly have a change of heart and "turn good" for example not that this is likely :P but if your players are mature enough they will realize that the DM probably has a life outside of gaming family, work and so forth and running prepublished modules , while giving the DM a ready-to-go-adventure, carry this drawback as a matter of course.

I wasn't one of the persons affected by that but of course I feel bad for the people who apparently got cheated My only other comment is that as the modules progress you will see combat between a LOT of different monsters and the PC's which can slow combat down quite a bit and the dungeon crawls can be tough in terms of the puzzles you have to get through..

Just a thought. Overall I don't regret this purchase at all. The fact that it's a pdf makes it easy to just capture the images of the maps and foes and import them into Fantasy Grounds or Roll20 or whatever electronic program you might be using to game during this unfortunate era of the coronavirus where face to face gaming might be something you're not willing to take a chance on and you can copy and paste the "flavor text" what NPC's have to say, room descriptions or other setting descriptions straight out of the pdf into a window on FG presumably roll20 too I would guess?

Seems all they care about is the money they get from the projects and nothing else. I just need to know if the PDF comes with a printer friendly version.

I've looked at the previews and I just don't see how they can print friendly without being formatted just for it. Just one problem - I don't play Pathfinder. While I have plenty of respect for the system, it's just not a game I'm interested in running. That section of the adventure is available for free download if anyone wants to compare. Things seemed fairly simple - I tried to convert monsters to something similar in 5E, adjusting conventions where necessary removing magical equipment, adding the Multiattack action where appropriate, etc.

I also downshifted a lot of the DCs by about 5, as it seems like 5E relies on fewer bonuses than Pathfinder. My question to all of you - has anyone ran Way of the Wicked in 5E? If so, what were your experiences?

I'd also welcome input from anyone familiar with the adventures in general that could offer advice, suggestions, or commentary. Just finished converting Act 2 and the character building guidelines.

I'd really love to hear feedback on these, particularly the monsters in Act 2 and the traits granted by each crime. I'm mostly just winging it. The systems are similar enough that you can make any adjustments on the fly. I've been leaving DCs the same, and my players haven't had any troubles.

There may be fewer or lesser bonuses, but the Advantage system mitigates some of that. My PCs are only 6th level at the moment though, so things may change.
